Privacy policy

This site is operated by Kindred Works LLC. This policy describes what information the site handles today. If we add features that change any of this, we will update this page and its date first.

Information we collect

This site is a static, read-only publication. It has no user accounts, no comment system, and currently no forms. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information through the site itself.

Cookies and analytics

The site runs one analytics tool: Google Analytics 4, which measures page views and general traffic patterns so we can see which guides people actually use. It is the only third-party script on the site. We run no advertising scripts. Google describes how it handles this data in its policy for sites that use its services.

If you are in the EU, UK, EEA or Switzerland, you see a cookie banner with equal Accept and Decline buttons, and analytics stay off until you accept. Elsewhere, analytics run by default; you can turn them off at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, and they stop as soon as you decline. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can change it at any time from that link. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell or share what it collects. If we add another provider or any advertising, this section will name it and link to its privacy practices before it goes live.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived server logs, such as IP address, pages requested, and browser type, for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Email

If you email us, for example with a correction request, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not sell or share personal information.
